give me a PRO! give me a TERRA!

Cert ID Europe are receiving more and more enquirers regarding our new and upcoming standard, the ProTerra Standard run by the ProTerra Foundation, generally asking, "well what's it all about?"

"the ProTerra Foundation claims that the growth in genetically modified crops is not only a risk to food safety and food security, but causes a devastating impact on the welfare and lives of farmers and rural communities in countries such as Brazil and Argentina, from where millions of tonnes of soy meal, soy beans and soy oil are imported into the EU every year ."

At
Cert ID we value the sustainable growth of farmers and rural communities, especially those in countries such as Brazil and Argentina, where the living conditions are not always suitable.

ProTerra runs alongside
Cert ID's Non-GMO Certification, as it plays an equal part in certificating the use of non-gmo soy and makes sure that the production is ethical and sustainable.

But we're making sure its not all just going on in Brazil and Argentina for example!

On the 24th of April Cert ID are sponsoring the first ProTerra Foundation Conference in London. We've got some great speakers and sponsors at the event, and we really think it will be an event to show your face and to get to grips with ProTerra!
