Sustainable Sourcing

Sustainability is not only the buzz word for the ProTerra Foundation, but it seems to also be the buzz word in the press as well!

A recent article in the 
Food Navigator talks about sustainable food becoming a new hit in the food industry! The article discusses how organic consumers are now looking into sustainable foods, especially since current economic difficulties have taken place. Sustainable food falls in line with the same values and understandings of organic foods in terms of its ethical and social values.

Sustainability certainly is becoming more apparent and more of a growing issue in the food industry, leading food and drink manufactures alike to start thinking about where their food comes from and if sustainable sourcing can take place.
