Just when you thought GM was linked to the likes of soy and maize, the world shocked you and started seeing cases of GM papaya popping up.
Recent articles have approached Cert ID over the past few weeks, this time in relation to genetically modified papaya. GM papaya has risen over the past few months, causing a concern within the food and drink industry! European alerts have flashed up a great deal, saying that papaya is not safe from GM risks, especially with papaya coming from the tropical roots of Thailand and other exotic locations. Furthermore, Cert ID have noticed a rise in the alerts coming from Mexico, therefore showing the GM risk is not just linked to one location.
