Can I have that with a side of GM please?

A recent article in The Guardian discusses a growth in positive consumer attitudes towards GM foods, but does it really show that we ask?


The GM article looks at how the UK opinion of the use of GM foods is becoming more widespread and controversial. A flexibility of opinion may have risen around the UK over the use of GM foods, but would UK consumers actually buy the products?


As a Non-GMO Certification Body we have found that consumer attitudes towards GM foods still reveal thoughts of concern. Consumers are perhaps becoming more inclined for the use of GM foods to be used in certain circumstances, but this does not necessarily mean they are more included to buy GM foods and use them for themselves.


Cert ID Europe would love to hear your thoughts on the matter! As the global leaders in Non-GMO Certification, it is important to us to know what consumers feel when it comes to GM foods (and we're also just really nosy as well!)
