Can anyone smell cake?!

It’s been a birthday week at Cert ID this week, yesterday we were raising our glasses for Stephen our Senior Technologist who celebrated with a bit of Victoria Sponge! We’ll be sure he’s putting them John Lewis vouchers to good use!  Today is Katie’s birthday our certification co-ordinator! And with all this terrible weather she couldn’t be happier to receive Zombie Wellies.. Katie was also lucky enough to be taken out for a spot of lunch and had a lovely home-made chocolate sponge cake, with sweets! (it wouldn’t be a blog if we didn’t mention food).. did I tell you she’s 25?! That’s over the half way mark to 30, surely that just means a bigger birthday cake?

All smiles at Cert ID this week, I guess you could say that we’re also celebrating that we have passed the first mile stone for our new accreditation to deliver ISO 22000 Certification by UKAS.. Not without thanks to our Certification Manager – Maria Taylor, Well done!

Now let’s all go have a bottle of wine?

It’s the little things in life…

Highlight of the day for Maria Taylor Certification Manager here at Cert ID – new phone case arrived in the post! Bright pink too so truly brightened up the desk. And not only that but the Fiat 500 mouse has been revived – double wammy! Not to say that certification isn’t exciting enough, but it really is the little things that keep us smiling :)

Produce World are top of the World!

Another mention in the press you ask?

Well this time it's good press for our wonderful client Produce World RBO!

Produce World RBO appear in FPJ Fresh Info this week due to their success of achieving an A* grade against the BRC Food Safety Standard three years running!

This certainly is news to celebrate at Cert ID Europe, as Produce World RBO are in a small group of clients at Cert ID who decide to opt for unannounced audits, which is an even smaller number against BRC Version 6.

Maria Taylor, our Certification Manager, speaks out in the article,

Well that's just what we expect of our clients, an outstanding produce manufacturer for an outstanding Certification Body.

She may be a Certification Manager by day, but we're hoping shes a baker by night as a birthday cake really should be in order!
