They must be quackers!

Yes we may all be upset that Andy Murray didn't win the Wimbledon final, and yes we may be even more upset that we're back in the office and not in a field of mud at a festival, but alas, we have new new new business in the Cert ID Europe office this week.

Cherry Valley is the name, and ducks is the game. Cherry Valley are now on the Cert ID books for their 2012 BRC audit, which is always a good move in our minds. Cherry Valley are a large duck company based in the Lincolnshire Wold. They rear near the mark of 8 million pekin ducks every year to the highest welfare standards in the industry. Well we can't argue with that! We're sure they'll fly through their BRC with flying colours, even with Cert ID's thorough auditors. So there you have it, no more Wimbledon, no more muddy wellies, but a duck filled BRC.

All aboard Chaps!

Andy Murray is in the Wimbledon semi-finals and Cert ID Europe have more new business for the week! Life couldn't get any better...

The new business we are celebrating today is Chapman's Seafood's Limited. Chapman's are a a great fish manufacturer in the Grimsby area processing and packing fish cakes and breaded fish fillets. The company sounds like they deliver some fantastic pieces of fish, and some great bits of seafood!

So there you have it. Great BRC certified fish and a Wimbledon semi-final.

Oakley Dokley

New BRC for the rainy week, Oakley Farms!

Oakley Farms have decided to go with Cert ID Europe this year for their BRC food safety audit. We're going to be proud to audit the likes of their pumpkins, broccoli, courgettes and marrows. We might need to borrow a few bits of their produce to make a mean stew as this weather doesn't seem to be getting any warmer!

On a lighter note, Andy Murray is now into the fourth round of Wimbledon. More Pimms anyone?

Rooting for business!

Andy Murray won his first round of Wimbledon in straight sets, and Cert ID Europe get more new BRC business! Safe to say a great start to the week!

The new business we're celebrating this week is the 2012 BRC audit of Hammond Produce Ltd! The Nottingham based company process and manufacturer root vegetables and the likes of rhubarb, asparagus and alliums! Hammond Produce are a great example of a company who thrive through BRC, much like Andy Murray will hopefully thrive through Wimbledon...3 cheers for British greats!

Wimbledon 2012!

Not sure about the whole of Cert ID Europe and FoodChain Europe but some of us definitely are excited that it's the time of year where the sun hopefully shines, Andy Murray gets a legion of followers and the strawberries and cream are ready to be served. Yes you heard it, Wimbledon!

Even though we support the whole of the world, and have clients in countries here there and everywhere, it would not be quite right if we weren't supporting the British great Andy Murray! Disappointed by the football result over the weekend, it seems only apt that the UK turn their support to Andy and the next two weeks of great British Sport.

Also this is a fantastic excuse to have some of those Halal certified strawberries with ISO 22000 compliant cream and BRC approved Pimms. The flags are cracking and the sun is almost (fingers crossed) out, so here is hopefully a few weeks to be celebrated!
