BOO!

Hope that didn't scare you too much...or what you're about to see...

Halloween in the Cert ID Europe and FoodChain Europe office today! There are witches hats, hubbly bubbly pumpkin broth, blood filled Victoria jam sponge, teeth-chattering treacle toffee, devilish balloons, ghoulish crispy cakes and frightening lollipops. All with a Halloween theme of course. I'm sure the end of the day will see more ghostly activities, or maybe just more certification decisions and planning of audits? Still fun and games no matter what happens. And even Billy is joining in.

The Natural and Organics Products Europe

Who doesn't love a day out of the office?

As much as we at
Cert ID Europe love spending our days running training courses, making certification decisions, and overall carrying out those tasks a certification body does each day, we also like the occasional trip out. And what better way to spend it than at the Natural and Organics Products show in London!

Monday saw an array of organic foods, vegan foods and gluten free foods, and also the odd diet foods (no hint please).

The Natural and Organics Product show really stood out for Cert ID Europe as to us it reveals certain breakthroughs in the food industry, for example, great 'fish' tasting vegan fishcakes (from our own Redwood Wholefoods Company), and fantastic gluten-free cakes, where to be honest I couldn't taste a difference!

Apart from the great free samples all day,
Cert ID met some great companies who we hope to see much more of in the future. Whether this be for business, for a training course, or simple for more free samples...

Its my party and I can cry if I want to!

We don't know whether to smile or cry in the Cert ID Europe office today.

Cert ID's Company Secretary Jodie Newson is taking maternity leave from the end of the day, and quite honestly how are we going to cope without her?!

But let's not think about the sad times but the happy
times to come! We're celebrating in the office and
taking a break from the usual certification decisions, training planning, consultancy work and sales, and today we're
focusing on celebrating.

Someone bring out the cakes and the cups of tea (she is pregnant after all) and raise your mugs to baby Newson!
