Taking the Plunge

Cert ID Europe and FoodChainEurope visited Birmingham Children’s Hospital this week to see where and how our donations would be put to a great cause. Cert ID and FoodChain have decided to raise money specifically for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital cancer ward. At the moment two wards are dedicated to this cause, the first for 12-16 year olds which is a new ward, with new equipment, and secondly another ward for new borns to 11 year olds. This ward is quite cramped in a rundown building with quite outdated surrounding, which is why Cert ID and FoodChain have decided to focus our sponsorship on this particular great cause.

Cert ID and FoodChain are taking part in a number of different charitable activities leading up to our shark dive in the autumn of this year. For example, we are kicking off our sponsorship and charitable season with a dress down Friday ever Friday. Pay £1 and dress how you like we say! Furthermore, we have an Olympic/sport themed fancy dress day on the 2nd of August, as well as some great bake sales which will be coming up in the next few weeks.

Want to get involved or help out?

Well if you really wanted to you could visit Cert ID and FoodChain when we have our bake sale and feast on cakes, cookies and flapjack! Or pop on down on a Friday to dress how you like? Or even better, help Cert ID and FoodChain out by sponsoring at our Just Giving page (http://www.justgiving.co.uk/certideurope2012), our efforts are all leading up to our shark dive in September, therefore every penny up to the shark dive counts, and every penny will go to Birmingham Children’sHospital and their cancer ward.

Many thanks if you have already donated, it is a great help and all for a great cause!
