Rate Us - Non-GMO Certification

Recently, at Cert ID Europe, we've been asking our clients what they've got out of Cert ID Non-GMO Certification, and how it has improved their business. One great response is from a recent client, detailed below:

What are your thoughts of the
Cert ID Non-GMO Certification scheme?
As we are planning to enter in Europe with our Non GMO Soya Lecithin and due to cotton issue and Cert ID is required so selected Cert ID

How does the scheme fit with your company?
It fits properly for our Lecithin and as mentioned above for Cotton contamination issue and Non GMO Certification we started with this certification

What are your thoughts of the staff and service from Cert ID and our auditor?
I am connected with Cert ID since long and I am very comfortable with Cert ID staff

Finally, would you recommend the certification scheme to other companies and why?
If gets an opportunity surely will do as per above points mentioned

Simple, to the point, but overall positive feedback. Happy Certification Body.

New Food Labeling Regulations 2012 Courses

I'm sure it's not only Cert ID Europe who read the back of food and drink packets? Maybe not always for the calorie content, but because we're interested in labeling! Well, if you're the same as Cert ID Europe then the 'New Food Labeling Regulations' course is just the course for you!

Cert ID have already run one Labeling course this year, and the success was fantastic! Don't quite believe us, well it's just what it says on the tin:

"informative and good value"

"informative and useful. A must for any technical team member!"

"very thorough"

"Excellent overview of a new regulation rapidly creeping up on the food industry!"

"Stuart's presentation was excellent, enthusiastic and well informed"

Not only is the content and feedback great, but at the Manchester and Birmingham courses there will be a great  guest appearance from Corinne Lowe from the Trading Standards Institute (Joint Lead Officer for Food and Nutrition). Cert ID Europe are lucky enough to have Corinne attending the Labeling courses to speak about the enforcement of the Regulations.

The new labeling regulations aren't something you can pick up by trial and error, as they can be quite difficult to get around. However Cert ID Europe's course can provide you with the information, the changes and the confidence to make sure that your products are labelled correctly! Take a look at the dates available below and drop Cheryl a line (01675 475607) or an email to book your place (cheryl.pierpoint@cert-id.eu)

New business brings fantastic feedback!

One of Cert ID Europe's new clients, Naked Foods, have given Cert ID some excellent feedback in their recent 2012 BRC audit! To say we know how to handle food safety audits is an understatement! According to Naked Foods, the Cert ID service, sales process and audit, exceeded expectations! They also said we have a lot of contact with them, which we like to as a certification body. Keeping in touch with our clients, and generally being fairly nosy with what new products and news they have, is what we're good at! I'm sure we will have feedback to share with you soon, so watch this space.

A* Feedback

Fantastic feedback on Cert ID's LinkedIn page with Non-GMO Certification!

Jochen Koester, Director at AgroTrace S.A.
Geneva Area, Switzerland
"Without Cert ID's Non-GMO certification of agricultural raw materials "GMO-free" product claims in Germany and Austria, soon also in France, would not be possible. I have known the market for more than a dozen years and there is no competitor offering a comparable product. While national laws allow producers to make the claim without being certified, it is highly recommendable to use only certified raw materials ,e.g. soybean meal, in the compound feed. Cert ID provides this service exclusively."

"very specific, to the point and practical. Thanks" (Cargill Meats Europe)

"informative, informal excellent content and coverage" (Food Safety Management)

"highly recommend, money well spent" (Contract Bottling Ltd)

Not that we're bragging or anything...
