Well well well, what do we have here? Not only do we have Cert ID Europe in the press, but also one of our biggest Non-GMO clients, Adani Wilmar!

Adani Wilmar and Cert ID Europe have developed a great business relationship over the past year in line with their achievement towards Cert ID Non-GMO Certification. The Indian company hold a great market share for the demand of Non-GMO soy in Europe, which has rapidly increased and gained awareness of since becoming Cert ID certified Non-GMO soy. Adani Wilmar currently have three plants spread over India which are Cert ID Non-GMO Certified, which now means they have secured their position in India to access GM sensitive markets. The recent press article in the Food Naviagtor highlights Adani Wilmar's achievements and their growing success of suppling Cert ID Non-GMO certified soya lecithin to the widespread European market, and meeting the great market demand.

Expand into the EU market!

Cert ID Europe are proud to discuss new business with the Keshav group based in Indore, India! The Keshav group are leading manufacturers and exports of Non-GMO soya lecithin, which will soon be certified to Cert ID Non-GMO Certification. Cert ID Non-GMO Certification is very popular in India in the likes of soy manufacturing, as soy is one of the main risk GM ingredients.

Cert ID Non-GMO Certification can allow a company to prove that they operate to a maximum GM threshold of 01.%, therefore proving that no contamination of GM is existent in their products. Cert ID Europe Non-GMO Certification can expand companies such as Keshav, and allow them to assess and grow into the European Market much easier!

Rate Us - Non-GMO Certification

Recently, at Cert ID Europe, we've been asking our clients what they've got out of Cert ID Non-GMO Certification, and how it has improved their business. One great response is from a recent client, detailed below:

What are your thoughts of the
Cert ID Non-GMO Certification scheme?
As we are planning to enter in Europe with our Non GMO Soya Lecithin and due to cotton issue and Cert ID is required so selected Cert ID

How does the scheme fit with your company?
It fits properly for our Lecithin and as mentioned above for Cotton contamination issue and Non GMO Certification we started with this certification

What are your thoughts of the staff and service from Cert ID and our auditor?
I am connected with Cert ID since long and I am very comfortable with Cert ID staff

Finally, would you recommend the certification scheme to other companies and why?
If gets an opportunity surely will do as per above points mentioned

Simple, to the point, but overall positive feedback. Happy Certification Body.

Cert ID Non-GM-GO

Cert ID Europe are proud to introduce two new Non-GMO clients this week, Ulrick & Short and Khandwa Oils. Both these companies certainly reinforce how Non-GMO issues and Certification is not pinned down to just one specific area in the world. Khandwa Oils are an Indian based company working with the likes of soy and soy lecithin, whereas Ulrick & Short are from sunny Britain and are working with the likes of maize.

Cert ID Non-GMO Certification is vastly spreading throughout the world which is challenging the use of GM throughout. Our Certification scheme is a great success and has allowed great companies such as Ulrick & Short and Khandwa Oils, grow their market and reinforce their Non-GMO stance.

Cert ID Non-GMO Certification certainly is now GM-GO!

Sustainable Success!

Tuesday the 24th of April 2012 saw the first, of hopefully many, ProTerra Conferences for the ProTerra Foundation. To say the day was a success certainly is an understatement!

Cert ID Europe were proud to be sponsoring the ProTerra Conference, which dealt with the likes of 'Sustainability in the Soy Supply Chain'. A topic which sprouted a lot of debate, and some great insights! The day saw some fantastic presentations, knowledgeable speakers and vigorous debates. Ranging from companies such as Alpro, Cefetra, Politicians and journalists, the views and ideas surrounding the day defiantly opened up minds regarding sustainability in the soy industry.

A
further bonus also throughout the day was the fantastic location of the conference, which was held at the Natural History Museum in London! A great location, fantastic staff, and some fairly nice cakes...

give me a PRO! give me a TERRA!

Cert ID Europe are receiving more and more enquirers regarding our new and upcoming standard, the ProTerra Standard run by the ProTerra Foundation, generally asking, "well what's it all about?"

"the ProTerra Foundation claims that the growth in genetically modified crops is not only a risk to food safety and food security, but causes a devastating impact on the welfare and lives of farmers and rural communities in countries such as Brazil and Argentina, from where millions of tonnes of soy meal, soy beans and soy oil are imported into the EU every year ."
(
article from AllAboutFeed)

At
Cert ID we value the sustainable growth of farmers and rural communities, especially those in countries such as Brazil and Argentina, where the living conditions are not always suitable.

ProTerra runs alongside
Cert ID's Non-GMO Certification, as it plays an equal part in certificating the use of non-gmo soy and makes sure that the production is ethical and sustainable.

But we're making sure its not all just going on in Brazil and Argentina for example!

On the 24th of April Cert ID are sponsoring the first ProTerra Foundation Conference in London. We've got some great speakers and sponsors at the event, and we really think it will be an event to show your face and to get to grips with ProTerra!
